The Homestead Resort, a year round full service property, was recently ranked 12th in North American destination ski resorts by Conde Nast. Our resort is located in the Wasatch Mountains, an hour drive from the Salt Lake International Airport, and 20 minutes from 4 major World Class Ski Areas. For your pleasure, the Homestead offers an incredible array of year round activities. During the summer months, play our 18 holes of championship golf course, or an additional 72 holes at nearby Wasatch Mountain State Park. The Homestead's Stables offer horseback excursions, old fashioned buggy rides and group hayrides. Miles of country roads are perfect for bicycling and hiking. Swimming, tennis, and trout fishing are a few of the other warm weather activities to be enjoyed at our resort. Our Resort Spa is open year round offering a variety of massages, and spa treatments, featuring Aveda products. Our most unique feature, The Homestead Crater, is a geothermal hot pot that offers snorkeling, swimming, and scuba diving year round in natural hot spring with an average temperature of 90 degrees. Winter activities include cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and sleigh rides.

From Salt Lake International Airport-SLC Take the I-80 East ramp towards City Center/Ogden/Provo, approx. 1.1 miles. Continue and merge onto I-80 East to I-15 South. Exit on the I-80 East ramp towards Cheyenne. Travel approx. 25 miles and take th US Hwy 40 East (Heber exit). The Heber Exit is directly after Park City exit. Travel South approx. 14 miles to the Midway and Wasatch Mountain State Park turnoff. Turn right at the stop light onto River Road and follow the directional signs, approx. 5 miles.

When your conference group needs to split up into smaller groups, that can be accommodated in style. We even have meeting rooms with fireplaces that provide a warm and comfortable atmosphere for informal gatherings. Our Golf Pavilion, with mountain and golf course views and the large canopied Garden Patio are the perfect setting for banquets and award ceremonies. Most of all, the staff makes every guest feel like the VIP they are when they stay at the Homestead.
