Property Description
"You're the kind of place I'm always looking for, but hard to find nowadays." (Quote from one of our frequent guests who travels extensively.) The Best Western Columbian Inn is family owned and operated and has a long history of offering a comfortable home away from home to visiting travelers. Our 26 rooms feature a cottage-inn décor with interior brick walls, wooden beam ceilings, and skylights in the bath and vanity areas. All our rooms are ground floor. While small in size, we offer all the standard amenities you expect to find at Best Western, the world's largest hotel chain. Over the last several years we have consistently ranked in the top one-fourth of all Best Westerns on quality inspection scores. Yet our room rates continue to remain among the very lowest you will find among all Best Westerns in the country. We are truly an economy-priced motel within a chain generally characterized as mid-priced. A large number of our guests are satisfied frequent customers who view us almost as "family." We are sure you will find our old-fashioned personalized service and value-priced room rates to be a welcome and pleasant alternative to the norm. In 1991 the city of Provo was rated America's most livable city by "Money" magazine, and Provo continues to enjoy high ratings in the magazine's annual surveys. We are located just three blocks from the very center of this award-winning city. Local attractions include two major institutions of higher learning, a venue for the 2002 Winter Olympics, and a nearby canyon resort that attracts Hollywood stars to its annual internationally known film festival. We are just a mile from one of the state's newest shopping malls and equally close to the headquarters offices of the city's major businesses. Numerous outdoor recreation activities are offered at nearby Provo Canyon.
